Margaret VanLoock, PhD

Margaret VanLoock, PhD is the founder and CEO of Dermatology Specialty Services, a company specializing in dermatology billing, practice management, consulting and prior authorizations. She has also served as the practice manager, billing specialist and biologic coordinator for Mobile Dermatology since 2008.

Margaret received her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL and her PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. After finishing her PhD, Margaret spent three years as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA where she focused her research on structural biology and electron microscopy.
